Medical camps of Dr.Raju

Mr.Raju is a medical doctor in Chirala who helps at Free Lutheran Medical Camps in villages.  Irrespective of caste and creed the AFLCI conducts free camps in many villages where there are Free Lutheran Congregations.  Many villages do not have hospitals so villagers have many problem when they are sick.  These mobile clinics help them to sustain their health.

We provide medicines to poor sick people in villages freely.

AFLCI is always thankful to sister organization AFLC in Canada for supporting these mobile medical camps.  We also thankful to AFLC US world missions for supporting Dr.Raju so that he is able to conduct camps in many villages.

Here some picture are posted for reference.  These are taken when Dr.Raju conducted camps recently.  Dr.Raju works for AFLCI for full 20 days in a month and other 10 days he spends for his own clinic and for his family.

Mobile Clinic at Bodapadu

Mobile Clinic through AFLC of India;  AFLCI get support for medical camps in remote villages from world missions of AFLC (USA) and (Canada).

The camp conducted in Bodapadu village;  this village has 500 families approximately.  About 350 families are get their lively wood by daily wages.  Many diseased people do not got hospital quickly as they do not have full pledged hospital in this village.  So they have to go to hospital near by town ponnur which is 9 kms away from this village and for a good hospital they have to got Guntur town which is 50 kms away.  As they are daily workers in fields they can not spend more money to go to hospital.

These mobile clinics concentrate these kind of daily wages workers and provide them good medicine.

Medical camp at Elachetladibba village

Elachetladibba is a fishing village.  People in this village have to cross the Krishna River and go to a hospital in near by town if they are sick.  Even they do not have first-aid kits in this village.  AF:LCI medical camps give good results in this village.  AFLCI does this on humanitarian basis and at the same time this work helps the local congregation to grow.
AFLC US world missions and AFLC Canada world missions are the strong supporters of this work.
